Read the following passage and answer the questions :
The problem of food shortage is most keenly felt in the developing countries. It threatens to grow worse. It is well expected that number of men and women suffering from hunger will have increased by the year 2050.
It is rather strange that the poorer the country is , the higher the rate of growth in population. In most Asian and African countries it is over two percent . In some of the Latin American countries it goes up to 3 percent. At present, countries do not hope much for ; sudden expansion in the cultivated area that may meet this rising rate of people . The reason for such little hope is that people in these countries , continue to use their old ways of farming , whereas it is high time they used modern machinery and technology.
What makes things worse is the migration of some villagers to cities in the hope of getting better paid jobs . This raises the number of the unemployed in those cities and affects the food shortage.
Needless to say , the population explosion is a world problem. The rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. The whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production cannot keep up with the population increase. People in the rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world's resources , their food , fuel and land , and cause the most pollution.

Most students find university very different from school. One of the biggest differences is that university students are expected to manage their time themselves. Although staff will help, it is .the students' responsibility to be in the right place at the right time and to hand homework in on time. The way teaching is organised is also very different from school. At university, lecturers teach classes that may last two or three hours and can include 300-400 students. There are usually other smaller classes where students can discuss subjects they find difficult, and from time to time lecturers spend time with individual students, talking about work they have done. Read the following passage then answer the Questions:
We see thousands of advertisements every day in the street, on TV in supermarkets, and in newspapers and magazines. Every week millions of dollars are spent promoting products in advertisements. And if you think customers aren't influenced by advertisements (even ones they dislike), you're wrong! Advertisements aren't necessarily successful if they are , liked .They're successful if they are remembered. People often remember a product which is advertised using famous people. When we see a T-shirt worn by a sports star, we imagine that we may also be successful with the same T-shirt. Companies always want new ways to advertise their goods. Have you ever seen a "pop-up" ad, one that suddenly appears on your screen while you are logged on to the internet? If you are visiting a football site, you may receive a small pop-up advertisement for football shirts. Pop-ups can be very annoying and very hard to stop. But it does not matter if we like the advertisements or not: more advertisements mean more money.

A - Answer the following Questions:
1 - When are advertisements successful?

    2. When do pop-up adverts appear ?

    3. Why do advertisers use famous people?

    4. Do you think that pop-ups are considered a problem? Why?
